Dr. Friedrich Glauner
Friedrich Glauner is Senior Advisor Interdisciplinary Studies. Glauner combines interdisciplinary research expertise on the drivers of human and institutional behaviour with many years of entrepreneurial practice at the interface of business and knowledge transfer. As a Permanent Fellow in the field of research at the Global Ethic Institute, he developed the ‘Value Cockpit’ for managing organisational cultures and the ‘Tübingen Model for Sustainable “Ethicological” Business’. For 18 years, he worked as an entrepreneur, managing director and manager in his own and owner-managed companies. He studied philosophy in Berlin, Cologne and London and as a Fulbright Scholar in Berkeley, specialising in epistemology, philosophy of language and philosophy of science as well as minors in economics, religious studies, history and semiotics. As a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, he received his doctorate in Berlin in 1994. At the Global Ethic Institute, Dr Glauner holds seminars on ethical corporate management and sustainable business models.
