Dr. Marcus Ehrenberger studied business administration with a focus on strategic management and controlling at the University of Applied Sciences (HTWG) in Konstanz. He then worked as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. habil. Josef Wieland at the Konstanz Institute for Corporate Governance (KICG). He received his doctorate from the University of Hohenheim with a thesis on corporate social entrepreneurship. From 2016 to 2021, Dr. Marcus Ehrenberger worked at KPMG AG in audit-related consulting with a focus on corporate governance and sustainability. Since 2022, he has been Function Lead in the Sustainability Management department at STRABAG AG, focusing on environmental and energy issues. At the Global Ethic Institute, Dr. Marcus Ehrenberger teaches sustainable corporate management with a focus on decarbonization, circular economy, and sustainable supply chains.
