Project Cassandra was launched to treat literature as a serious source of knowledge. Literature is the world’s largest archive: a unique repository of human experience. It is even capable of representing the unspoken: whether the hidden sensitivities of individuals or collective feelings and mentalities—literature consistently succeeds in capturing the important but often elusive depths and undercurrents of complex societies in vivid narratives and images.

Building on the ideas of Hans Küng, we at the Global Ethic Institute at the University of Tübingen, together with partners from business, academia, and civil society, are announcing an award for startups and early-stage companies that demonstrate social and environmental responsibility through economically viable ideas.
Communication is more important than ever today: as a bridge between organizations and their stakeholders, as a driver of cultural change, and as a tool for orientation in an increasingly fragmented public sphere. But this task is becoming increasingly complex. The conditions under which communication and management professionals operate are characterized by high uncertainty, social polarization, technological upheaval, and a rapid pace of change.
