Director Goldschmidt in ZDF documentary on the future of trade

Is the world becoming increasingly isolated, or is global connectivity continuing to grow? What does this mean for us, our everyday lives, and our jobs? ZDF journalist Florian Neuhann explored these questions in the latest WISO documentary, “The Future of Trade – Tariffs, Wars, Free Markets?” (ZDF, Germany’s largest German television station). With the help of artificial intelligence, the team of authors looks ahead to the year 2035 – and travels to places where the future of trade is already taking shape today. Prof. Nils Goldschmidt, Director of the Global Ethic Institute, appears in the documentary as an expert. Goldschmidt classifies the developments in terms of economic and regulatory policy and emphasizes the importance of stable framework conditions for open markets and international cooperation.
