On March 17, 2022, we were visited by Jorge Roca and Thomas Strobel, both from the German school in Cuenca (Ecuador) and from the Association of German Schools Abroad. This comprises 146 schools in numerous countries and works with its own curriculum, which is independent of the German federal states. Both partners are seeking contact with the Global Ethic Institute, also with a view to Globalization 4.0 with an exchange linking the regions of Tübingen-Reutlingen and Cuenca (Ecuador), especially with a view to the exchange of and with young people. Especially the qualification around the topic “dual education” and “dual university” is in the foreground. The next step is to develop a joint concept, also with other partners.
