The Global Ethic Institute is a research and educational institution focused on business, ethics, and society at the University of Tübingen. Its mission is to promote ethical business practices grounded in global responsibility, as well as social cohesion and public dialogue—through research, teaching, and the application of knowledge in practice.
The Institute is a center for learning about economic and social ethics, successful democracy, and values-based corporate governance. To this end, we engage with academia, the public, and businesses.
The Institute’s director is the economist and theologian Professor Dr. Nils Goldschmidt.The Institute is funded by the non-profit Karl Schlecht Foundation and supported by the Global Ethic Foundation.
