CONFERENCE – Freedom & Responsibility: Leading for Well-Being

The Humanistic Management Network, the Global Ethic Institute, the Leading for Well-Being Consortium and Fordham University invite you to:
The 4th Annual Humanistic Management Conference

Freedom & Responsibility:
Leading for Well-Being

13-14 October 2016
Weltethos-Institut (Global Ethic Institute) at the University of Tuebingen, Germany
Due to numerous business scandals in the last years, the corporate ‘license to operate’ – the freedom of business – has come increasingly under scrutiny. At the same time, calls for more economic responsibility abound: The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), the United Nations, and the OECD are demanding economic policies and business strategies no longer only directed to wealth accumulation but also promoting higher levels of human wellbeing. The conference wants to contribute to this renegotiation of the relationship between economic freedom and responsibility.
Honorary Lecturer: Jeffrey D. Sachs
Speakers: Christopher Albrigo, Anthony Annett, Georges Blanc, Claus Dierksmeier, Christian Felber, Ernst von Kimakowitz, Chris Laszlo, Hunter Lovins, Michael Pirson, Jürgen Volkert, Andrew Winston, Maurizio Zollo
The Humanistic Management Network will host a preparatory academic paper development workshop on October 12 for selected papers.
Please register for this conference via the following link: www.xing-events.com/freedom_responsibility

Registration for the preparatory paper development workshop opens on 1 June 2016 when the selection of abstracts is completed and the authors notified. A workshop and conference package is available from 1 June 2016 onwards.
