Beschreibung

This block seminar explores Weltethos founder Hans Küng’s concept of Basic Trust in life (Grundvertrauen or Lebensvertrauen), which he regards as the common humanistic legacy of the world’s spiritual traditions. After class discussions from a range of angles (biography, theology, psychology, poetry etc.), students will be encouraged to run with this theme on their own terms (including possible applications to business, politics and society) in their coursework essay.
