Claus Dierksmeier researches on questions of political, religious and economic philosophy under special consideration of theories of freedom and responsibility in the age of globality.
The general focus of his work is globalization ethics in terms of their economic and political applications. The current focus is on a secular justification for a Global ethic based on an idea of ”qualitative freedom”. That theory examines freedom qualitatively for the life chances it opens up
and aims to provide intercultural guidelines for the individual how institutional connection of responsibility and freedom to formulate.
In addition, Dierksmeier researches the theories and practices of “humanistic management ”and“ humanistic economics ”. At the moment there are above all Questions of financial market ethics and the monetary system as well as conceivable Alternatives (e.g. cryptocurrencies) in the foreground.
