Dr. Katja Duckek

Dr. Katja Duckek leads the World Citizen School at the Global Ethic Institute from October 2023.
After studying communication science with a focus on market and communication research, economics and marketing at the University of Hohenheim, she earned her doctorate in business informatics on “Communication Quality in Electronic Negotiations.” She then worked as a web analyst in a PR and media consultancy. Since 2012, she has worked at Porsche AG, initially in training and qualification of the international trade organization, and from 2017 as HR officer for diversity and equal opportunities. There, she was responsible for the mentoring program and employee networks, among other things, and built up corporate volunteering. In addition to her professional activities, Katja Duckek is active as a municipal councilor and also serves as a commission member at the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes (German National Academic Foundation). In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains with her family.
